You are obviously wondering what I have to offer someone as busy as yourself who has worked tirelessly to get your business off the ground and has seen more gimmicks and fads ‘guaranteed to grow your business’ than you can shake a stick at.

To start off, my passion is to help people experience freedom in their lives and get out from under the thumb of the ’systems’ we live in. The two areas I love to dig in with people are with their business and with their finances. So back to the question, who am I and why should you listen to a word I have to say?

I started my entrepreneurial career in grad school at the Craig School of Business at Fresno State and attempted to launch a medical software company in 2003 in the wake of the ‘Dot-Bomb’ and industry meltdown in the tech world. I knew less than nothing about launching a business, even with my handy dandy MBA on the wall, and couldn’t get to profitability fast enough to sustain our fledgling venture.

I was then thrown into the Mortgage Business in 2004 on the downslope of the biggest refinance boom in the history of the World while still licking my wounds from the failed software venture. This time I realized how little I knew and proceeded to pursue every ‘guru’ under the sun that appeared to be more successful than I was, which was obviously everyone. Four years later and $75,000 invested in my post-MBA education with every guru, coach and trainer you can name and I now realize something that is very important to both you and me… There’s too much information in this world to sift through and all it does is consume my time and money to go through it.

So what does one do?

Obviously you need outside input because as Einstein so eloquently stated, We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them. The solution is then to be very selective and very critical of what we let in and study because life isn’t about building a business, it’s about the freedom we get after it’s built. The other key is to be a massive implementor of that which you study so you get to your goal as fast as possible.

So why listen to me?

My gift is in taking complex ideas and problems and breaking them down into step by step processes that are clear and easy to implement and get you to the results you want as fast as possible. I don’t know where it came from, so I just count it as a gift and I want to share it with as many business owners as possible.

One of the venues I do this in is teaching the Business Plan Writing course to Entrepreneurship majors at Fresno State. The cool thing about it is that they actually asked me to come back and teach again next semester, meaning they are desperate for bodies to teach or I actually did a decent job and impacted the students in a meaningful and valuable way.
