Marketing

The study of Marketing and how to generate qualified leads through advertising is a life long one. There are more guru’s in the world of marketing than you could ever imagine, especially with the focus of being ‘online’ now that the internet has become so integral in our daily lives.

For any business owner, whether a one man shop or a manager of an army of 100, carving out time to focus on marketing and learning what works and is effective is just not a reality. You are committed to managing your team and delivering tremendous value to your clients, because that’s what you do best.

Because of this fact and that I absolutely love studying Marketing and the strategies that work best to create high quality leads to grow a business to the next milestone, I figured I’d make myself available to not only come up with the ideas that will super-charge your marketing efforts and make your return on investment climb well into the ‘black’, but I’ll be here to implement it step by step with your team so they learn how it’s done and can continue implementing it well into the future. I’ve shared brilliant ideas (that I’ve collected over the years) with too many business owners that agreed with them, but could never find the time or know-how to implement them, so I realize that I need to be the one that gets it off the ground if it’s going to happen at all.

With that, there are a few key areas that I focus on that fit with nearly every business I’ve worked with.

#1: Getting money out of every person that visits your store (or website)
Retail shops are the most inefficient marketing machines ever. They get so much traffic and are lucky if 5%-10% actually purchase something. The other 90%-95% leave never to be dealt with again, but showed interest enough to actually get off their butt and drive to your store and find parking and walk into it to look at what you have. The system I’ve put together for retail stores will double the revenue (at least) from the traffic they currently get now!

As for every other business under the sun, capturing client and prospect info (name, email, address and phone) is the key to building a long-term stable business and becomes an ATM machine you can simply withdraw money from any time you want in the future.

#2: Getting in front of the 100,000,000 people searching for products and services every day online
Google is hugely profitable because they have mastered online search AND have matched it with highly targeted and effective ads that meet those searchers needs. By studying their system and what the rules of the game are, it’s very simple to get at least $200 in sales for every $100 spent on advertising with them. I know of many who get as much as $3,000 to $4,000 for every $100 spent on their Google Ad Budget. Ask the yellow pages or radio sales reps if they can measure those kind of results and are willing to give a money back guarantee if they aren’t met!

#3: How to turn your expensive website from being a useless money draining online brochure into a lead generating money machine
Too many business owners are told they need to be online, but that’s like saying ‘you need to hire a bookkeeper.’ If you don’t know what to ask the bookkeeper to do and you don’t know how to run and read detailed financial reports, having a bookkeeper is only good for keeping your tax file organized to give to your CPA. It’s the same thing with having a website. If you don’t have tools installed on your site to track your visitors, how long they stayed on the site, what pages they left on and how to test various offers to see what gets the highest response, you’re wasting your time and money getting the site setup. I’ve met too many business owners that paid $10,000+ for a website that has never gotten them a single sale that could have been done for $500 in the first place. Creating an effective, lead generating website that drives sales shouldn’t cost more than a couple thousand dollars and should generate that much in revenue in the first month or two, causing your ROI in it to be well into the black in months, not years.

Like I stated above, the sky is the limit in regard to studying the world of Marketing, but focusing on the above three areas are the biggest and quickest bang for the buck that any business owner can benefit from.
